We bought this iced tea maker to replace the 3 Qt. Mr. Coffee iced tea maker we had for over 15 years. Unfortunately, Mr. Coffee had completely changed the design, but we thought we would give it a try anyway. For the first few months, it worked well. Then it started to leak once in a while. The leaking got worse. Last time it continued to leak even with me holding the pitcher as tightly against the machine as possible. Needless to say, the maker went out in the trash. We are still looking for a good maker that will make strong iced tea but will last longer than four months.
