Nothing short of perfection. Makes cooking so much more easier. An absolute essential piece of cookware for all kitchens. No doubts over the longevity of this. As far as pressure cookers are concerned, Hawkins is the best!

The design of this pressure cooker is a lot different than the last one I had but I guess since that one is about 25 years old or older I should be prepared for change. I DO like the idea and the pot works great. Small enough for just one person which is what I wanted.

This thing ruined my halogen stove top. It scratched a top that seemingly was unscratchable. It would be great for a gas range, but not for a halogen stove top. Damn! Not sure what I can do to fix it.
